Garbage truck: Components of the lubrication system

The role of the garbage truck lubrication system is to reduce friction, reduce power consumption, and reduce wear and tear of parts, so as to improve the reliability and durability of the engine. So, do car owners understand the composition of the garbage truck's lubrication system? If you don’t understand, please check the explanation in this article:

Garbage truck -Components of the lubrication system

1. The lubrication system of the garbage truck engine is composed of the oil bottom, the filter, the oil pump, the oil filter, the oil pipe, and the oil delivery pipe processed from the engine parts.

The lubrication system plays the role of lubricating the moving parts of the engine, cooling, cleaning the sealed box and preventing rust.

The lubricating oil circuit of the engine, the engine lubricating oil (oil) is stored in the oil pan. When the crankshaft of the engine rotates, the oil pump is driven by the chain driven by the oil pump.

The lubricating oil is filtered by the collector and sucked into the oil pump. A pressure limiting valve is installed on the oil pump to limit the oil pressure.

2. The oil pump pumps out pressurized oil, which is filtered by the oil filter and enters the main oil passage. Most of the oil in the main oil passage is used to lubricate the main shaft journal and connecting rod journal, and part of it enters the camshaft lubricating passage. A small part is delivered to the chain tensioner, the chain oil nozzle (the oil is sprayed to lubricate the cylinder wall and piston).

3.The oil into the camshaft lubricating oil is used to lubricate the intake and exhaust camshaft journals, and some enter the timing controller to control the advance or retard rotation of the camshaft.

After the oil performs various functions such as lubrication, it finally returns to the oil pan.

The above are the components of the garbage truck's engine lubrication system. If drivers want to keep the vehicle in good condition, they must conduct a comprehensive and systematic maintenance of the vehicle. The maintenance of the lubrication system is the top priority. After understanding the composition of the lubrication system, it is very important to maintain the lubrication system.
