Wheelbase
Definition
The wheelbase is the distance between the center lines of the tracks left by the wheels on the vehicle support plane (usually the ground).
Generally speaking, the wider the wheelbase, the higher the driving comfort, but some domestic cars do not have steering assistance. If the front wheelbase is too wide, the steering wheel will be very "heavy", which will affect the driving comfort.
In addition, the wheelbase has an impact on the overall width, overall weight, lateral stability and safety of the car.
Features
Generally speaking, the larger the wheelbase, the more favorable it is for the smoothness of handling, and it is also favorable for the body shape and the spaciousness of the cabin, and the better the lateral stability. However, with a wider wheelbase, the overall width and total weight of the vehicle are generally increased, and the problem of mud throwing to the side of the body is prone to occur. If the wheelbase is too wide, it will also affect the safety of the vehicle. Therefore, the wheelbase should be adapted to the width of the vehicle body.
Front track
The track of a vehicle is divided into front track and rear track. The front track is the distance between the two front wheel center planes.

Rear track
The rear track is the distance between the center planes of the two rear wheels, which can be the same or different. If the two ends of the axle are dual wheels, the track is the distance between the two center planes of the dual wheels.
