Garbage truck: 10 ways for trouble shooting of power take-offs
Garbage truck: 10 ways for trouble shooting of power take-offs
The power take-off on the garbage truck is a device that drives the hydraulic cylinder. When the hydraulic system is working, the power take-off is used to obtain power to drive. It is generally composed of a gear box and a clutch. It is connected with the gearbox by gears, and is connected with the lifting pump on the shaft. It is a separate gear in the gearbox. When the first gear is engaged, the pump is lifted as soon as the throttle is added. If it can be operated, the garbage truck will realize the dump function. So what are the ten common faults in the use of garbage truck power take-offs?
- Installation defect, the four bolts fixing the inner shell are loose.
- The bearing of the power take-off pump is damaged, cannot operate normally, or is stuck.
- The sliding sleeve support spring is damaged.
- The fine-tooth anti-loosening screws on the supporting surface are loose, causing the gear to fail and the force cannot be taken.
- The hexagon socket screw that fastens the piston is loose, causing air leakage, making it impossible to mount the gear, and cannot take power.
- When the O-ring of the piston is damaged, it will cause air leakage, make it impossible to engage the gear, and cannot take power.
- The power take-off cannot be put into gear, check whether the cylinder is leaking, whether the pressure difference of the cylinder in the middle position is normal and whether the solenoid valve is switched on and off.
- The input shaft bearing cap is damaged (because the fine-tooth bolts are loose and the pressure plate is worn through).
- The shell is broken and the bottom plate is not tightened when installing, causing the shell to loosen.
- The power take-off lift pump is small, and the drive shaft screw falls off and becomes loose.
The above is the failure of the garbage truck power take-off in use. Drivers and friends can check the above-mentioned failure based on the phenomenon, and deal with the failure according to the reason.
