For a refitted vehicle, the front and rear axle load ratio is 50:50. Front-rear-drive (FR) models are easier to achieve 50:50 axle load distribution because the engine and driving device are located at the front and rear of the car, respectively. The rear axle is a 4x2 truck with twin tires. There are six tires in total. The front and rear axle loads should be 1/3 and 2/3 of the total mass respectively. For rear-mounted rear-drive (RR) vehicles, the rear axle load should not exceed 59% when fully loaded to avoid overloading the tires and tipping backwards uphill.
According to Chinese Regulations, for passenger cars with seats less than or equal to 9, the axle load of the steering shaft shall not be less than 30%, regardless of whether it is empty or fully loaded, to ensure that the steering wheels have sufficient attached weight to maintain the stability of the steering. .
