Prevention of common accidents of truck mounted cranes
Truck-mounted crane is a special-purpose vehicle. During the operation, it must be carried out in strict accordance with the operating specifications to avoid accidents. It is reported that truck-mounted crane operation accidents occur every year around the world. As a truck crane driver, making money is one aspect. In fact, safety comes first.
The five types of safety accidents that are likely to occur during the use of the truck crane are as follows:
- Rollover accident:
1. Improper support operation during crane operation, such as uneven or soft foundation, and no special skid is laid under the outriggers;
2. Use the original performance table when the crane legs are not fully extended;
3. Overload: In actual work, due to the unclear estimation of the weight of the hoisted items, or insufficient attention to safety and overload operation, the crane loses stability and causes "turnover".
4. Too fast rotation: the faster the rotation, the greater the centrifugal force, which is prone to "falling arms", which may lead to rollover.
- Broken boom accident:
1. The boom is broken directly due to over-torque lifting.
- The operator is careless and drives on the road before the boom is fully retracted after the work is completed, causing the boom to hit the bridge hole, height-limiting rod, etc., causing the boom to break.
- Decoupling accident:
Decoupling accidents refer to accidents of heavy objects falling out of hooks or special spreaders. The main reason is due to the failure of the rigging anti-fall device of the hook or improper hoisting method.
- Rope broken accident:
Rope-breaking accident refers to the accident of heavy object loss caused by the breaking of rigid wire rope or lifting rope buckle. The main reason is that the wire rope is broken by the overloaded lifting belt-loaded telescopic boom; the wire rope is crushed and cut due to the slanting and oblique crane; or the wire rope is broken due to the continuous use of the wire rope exceeding the scrap standard.
- Electric shock accident:
An electric shock accident generally refers to a personal injury or death accident that occurs when a crane operator receives an electric shock due to an electric shock.
The cause of electric shock is generally due to the fact that the crane arm is too close to the exposed high-voltage transmission line to ensure a sufficient safety distance, so that the crane itself is connected to electricity, and the operator is indirectly exposed to high-voltage electric shocks.
Safety summary:
As a crane operator, the work front inspection can find hidden dangers as early as possible to avoid accidents; strictly abide by the operating procedures during operation, which can protect equipment and prevent accidents. All in all, safety first, prevention first, to be both safe and profitable is the fundamental.
